P&O Cruises Unveils Onboard Spending Money and Low Deposit Promos

P&O Cruises has unveiled two promos: extra onboard spending money and low deposits on select cruises.  

As part of the first deal, guests get up to £500 extra onboard spending money on selected Caribbean fly-cruise holidays departing between October 23, 2026, and March 18, 2028. 

The offer applies to more than 100 Select Price fly-cruise voyages, available to book June 4–17, 2026, the cruise line said in a press release. 

“Our Caribbean fly-cruises are a real favorite with our travel agent partners and this latest offer gives them even more to shout about,” said P&O Cruises associate vice president of sales and distribution, Ruth Venn. 

The low deposit of £49 per person is valid for applicable Select Price and Early Saver holidays of up to 13 nights and £99 per person for selected sailings between 14 and 23 nights. 

The offer applies to bookings made before June 30, 2026, and is valid for cruises departing between September 1, 2026, and March 30, 2028. 

“With up to £500 to spend onboard and low deposits there’s a strong value story for customers. Add in just how easy these holidays are, with everything taken care of from flights to luggage and it makes them a really strong sell for travel agents this season,” added Venn. 

Example itinerary: 

Eastern Caribbean Islands fly-cruise (November 12, 2027) 

This 14-night holiday onboard the Iona starts in in Bridgetown (Barbados), before calling into Basseterre (Saint Kitts & Nevis), Tortola (B.V.I.), St. Maarten, Fort de France (Martinique), with an overnight in Antigua, Castries (St. Lucia), Grenada, and ends in Barbados. 

Prices start from £2,649 per person based on two people sharing a balcony cabin with a deposit of £99pp and include a £500 onboard spending money for the cabin. 

Economy flights from London Gatwick, transfers in Barbados, children’s clubs, full board meals and entertainment are included in the price. 

The company also launched its “Summer Sizzle” campaign for travel agents who are members of the Shine Reward Club. 

Upon making a 2026 or 2027 Select Price booking June 1–30, 2026, agents can enter for a chance to win one of four £150 gift vouchers, with prize draws taking place throughout June.

Carnival Breeze Cruises Cancelled Due to Drydock Change

Carnival Cruise Line is cancelling five cruises onboard the Carnival Breeze that were scheduled to take place in January and March 2027.

According to a statement sent to booked guests, the sailings will no longer go ahead due to a change in the ship’s maintenance plans.

Sailing from Galveston, the Carnival Breeze was set to offer short four- and five-night itineraries to the Western Caribbean and Mexico.

Affected sailings include the cruises set to depart on Jan. 11, Mar. 5, Mar. 13, Mar. 18, and Mar. 22, 2027.

The changes come after a short-term alteration in itinerary and drydock plans for the Carnival Breeze during the specific timeframe, Carnival explained.

“We sincerely apologise for this change and thank you for your understanding,” the company continued.

According to the letter, guests will be offered the option to either reschedule their bookings or receive a full refund of the fare paid for the original sailing.

“We have a variety of alternatives and are confident that you will find another Carnival Cruise that is filled with an equal amount of fun,” Carnival said.

Guests who opt to reschedule their reservations will have their cruise rate protected on a comparable sailing in similar accommodations.

Additionally, Carnival is also offering an onboard credit based on the duration of the cancelled voyage, which will be automatically posted to guests’ onboard accounts.

Passengers who were originally set to embark on Jan. 11, 2027, and from Mar. 17, 2027, through Mar. 22, 2027, will receive $25 per person, up to a maximum of $50 per cabin.

For guests who were sailing on the Mar. 5, 2027, departure, Carnival is offering a $50 onboard credit per person, up to $100 per stateroom.

Passengers who opt not to reschedule their cruises will be automatically refunded after July 21, 2025.

Refunds could take up to three weeks to be processed, the company said.

Norwegian Cruise Line Invites Guests to Cruise Into Savings

Cruise fans have yet another reason to book a getaway with Norwegian Cruise Line this spring.

The company just announced it’s offering a bonus onboard credit of up to $1,000 on select cruises between now and May 17, 2018. The credit is also combinable with the cruise line’s Free at Sea promotion, providing guests as much as $3,700 in value on a cruise.

Norwegian has also extended its Free at Sea promotion through May 17. The signature value-added promotion provides guests who book a new three-day or longer cruise the choice of up to five free offers.

Options include free unlimited open bar, $50 credit per stateroom that can be used for port excursions, a free speciality dining package, 250-minute internet package or Norwegian’s Friends & Family Sail Free, which allows the third and fourth guests to sail complimentary on select cruises.

Offers are based on the stateroom category selected by passengers. For instance, those who reserve an inside cabin or Norwegian’s studio staterooms, which are specifically designed for solo travellers, receive one free offer.

Ocean view, balcony, and mini-suite category rooms include up to two free offers. Guests who book Norwegian’s ultimate luxurious offerings, which include butler service, will receive all five free amenities.

Free at Sea All-Inclusive All-Inclusive has also been extended through May 17. This offer is aimed at new three, four or the five-day Bahamas or Cuba voyages on Norwegian Sun or Norwegian Sky. Guests on these trips can take advantage of the promotion, in addition to the already included complimentary unlimited open bar.

The promotion allows guests to choose up to five onboard amenities. Options include a $50 speciality dining credit per stateroom, a $50 credit per stateroom that can be applied toward shore excursions, 100-minute Internet package, a photo package with ten free images, or Norwegian’s Friends & Family Sail Free offer that allows the third and fourth guests to sail complimentary on select cruises.

The Free at Sea Hawaii promotion, which has been extended like the other promotions, is designed for those who book a new cruise vacation aboard Pride of America, the only ship to sail a seven-day inter-island itinerary roundtrip from Honolulu all year.

The promotion offers include a free one-night pre-cruise hotel stay with an option to select reduced airfare starting at $399 from select gateways, a free specialty dining package, free pre-paid service charges for the first and second guest in the stateroom, free $50 credit per stateroom that can be applied towards shore excursions in each port, or Norwegian’s Friends & Family Sail Free offer, allowing the third and fourth guests in each stateroom to sail for free on many 2018/2019 sail dates. Guests who book a suite aboard Pride of America receive all five offers.
